Share Your Story

We are collecting case studies from people who have become well through taking thyroid medication, and from people who are still suffering symptoms of thyroid disease despite taking thyroid medication.

Sharing your story means that we could:

    • Put it on this website. Case studies of people who have become well help to give real hope and encouragement to people who have only just started on the road to recovery.

    • Put it in the Thyroid UK magazine, enabling people who do not have internet facilities to read it too.

    • Submit appropriate stories to journalists and radio/TV programme researchers, who frequently ask us for case studies.

    • Show it to MPs to persuade them to help in our quest to change things.

    • Use it to try to persuade the medical authorities that people really do get better when given thyroid treatment, even though their test is "normal".

If you would like us to use your story as a case study, please use the form below to email it to us.

Alternatively you can fill in your details, print the form, and post it with your story to:
Thyroid UK, 32 Darcy Road, St Osyth, Clacton-onSea, Essex CO16 8QF.
